18. lol took the magnet off a blown 8 inch tang band and made a passive out of it....stuck it in a box with two dual 12's at 120 watts and it lived :D it got 2 1/2 or 3 inches of excursion and little or no mechanical noise. best way to get in humane levels of throw XD
