He asked for suggestions, I replied. I'm sub 10 now, and I thought I'd offer advice.
thats because of his smart decisions and looking ahead. in the "breaks" he does he looks ahead so much that he can just do like the whole f2l lol. just practice your f2l and learn the olls and plls, then improve your recognition on them and you should get your time down easily. i always thought i would never get sub 1 minute. then i just practiced f2l and learned algs and now im on 27 seconds.

F2L? And do you use two look oll and pll if you know those?
When I see him solving he manages to stop for a couple of milliseconds and still get under 10 I never stop moving the cube I use my fastest movements I can and still get 40 -50
