Samsung S9 TV with 85 Zoll And 4K Display - CES 2013 HD SUBSCRIBE NOW: http://bit.ly/Tme7Ju FOLLOW US: https://www.facebook.com/pixelplanet.org https://twitter.com/pixelplanet1 Samsung has unveiled the world's largest ultra hi-definition TV in the annual 'mine's bigger than yours' contest at CES 2013 in Las Vegas. Samsung has upped the stakes in the ultra hi-definition race, whipping the covers off the world's biggest 4K TV at CES 2013 in Las Vegas - the Samsung S9. At a whopping 85-inches this latest ultra hi-definition beast claims to be an inch bigger than the nearest competitor 4K set. Design-wise the Samsung S9 is everything you'd expect from a top-end TV. The screen itself is seductively, virtually bezel-free and sits within a unique frame that Samsung has called a Timeless Gallery frame, arguing that this makes the TV "appear to be floating within its frame -- and showcases the juxtaposition of a minimalist concept with such a large display." Under the hood the Samsung S9 packs a quad-core processor to enable faster multi-tasking between content and apps, while the Precision Black Pro technology, aims to deliver "deep, real blacks" and "pure vivacious whites". Voice and gesture control also feature. Speakers built into the gallery frame kick out 3-way 2.2 channels of 120-watt sound and Samsung's proprietary up-scaling engine promises to upscale all your HD content to UHD-level picture quality. So far there's no word on UK pricing or availability but expect it to cost a pretty penny. Samsung is also promising even bigger things to come with a 95" and 110" expected to follow. You're going to need a bigger house.

  6. lol, people, what this moron is not telling you is that it will be years before you'll be able to watch anything in 4K because there's nothing out there broadcast in 4K, and may not be for years to come, so dont be a sucker and pay 40K for a TV only to watch maximum 1080P resolution programs! get real!!
  7. How do you pull out more resolution from say a 1080p show? Is the a massive invisible gpu onboard lol. I guess at 25000 dollars it can do anything
  8. The stand is just not practical i wouldn't buy one just for that stand. I would rather go sony's

  11. "4k" Displays are nothing new. They are mostly a selling point for people that don't quite know the tech behind it all. Most people, when they hear of a 4k Tv think it's 4k resolution right? Wrong. The term 4K refers to the horizontal resolution (instead of the vertical as with 1080p which is currently marketed at "Full HD") of these formats. Most 4k displays are actually around 2000-2200p and those resolutions have been out for years. My computer display setup is currently a 6k display.
  12. I'll get it for sure in 30 or 40 years from now if I'm alive.

  20. yeah good work...no applause, no cheers, no whoaaa. you get your answer samsung fat man. we have at maximum hd tv cable or hd movies made by ourselves. many of us keep having "hd ready" films...If you make cameras with UHD then it will count if not... BTW it`s ok to have a "such a good definition" but it`s the most ugly tv I ever ever seen. Like a chalk boar on stative. In 10 years those who`ll buy it, will be ashame of their ugly tv :))
