If you noticed during the Olympics the American team was getting called for travel a lot because they are not use to NBA refs calling it.
the step count is ridiculous once you establish your pivot foot you can not lift it until the ball hits the ground. if I move my heel but my toes are on the ground then it's not a travel

The people who count these travels are always off. They all travel, sure, but lots of times the people give them twice as many steps than they take.
