2. I see a lot of people talking shit about this channel and I just wanted to clarify something: y'all are missing a lot of context.
   
   these are NOT for keeping your EDC in knife-show condition. he expressly says DO NOT USE CARBIDE V-SHARPENERS ON YOUR FANCY KNIFE. they are EMERGENCY tools, to be used when you're out in the field and your knife needs super aggressive sharpening RIGHT NOW. that's what they're intended for, and that's what brad sells them for. I haven't once seen him suggest that you should throw away all your ceramics and stones, in fact in some videos he downright says "i'd rather use a stone for this knife and this purpose". he can be confronting and abrasive, but god damn, from what I can tell he is a truly honest man.
   
   if you're lost in the woods with a dull knife, suck it up and sacrifice it to the so called "blade raper" once every morning - it won't be pretty but it will carve wood like a champ and get you through your ordeal in one piece.
