Had this since it came out. never had a computer that will run it......including this NEW one!!..........so it sits.....waiting. Its been near 10 years
Then the Open Horizons II mod put the type II D U-boat back in. And then I went and added the Japanese midget submarine. Sorry for making your video even more out of date :/

They are basically, but they each had different sort of updates that make them better. Like fuel capacity, additional rudder, better speed, stability, additional torpedoes. Also there were differences in size and weight. You can read all about it, well most of it on Wikipedia - en.wikipedia.o rg/wiki/U-boat#Classes
they all look the same :( anyway i love the game but i just wish there were more choises :)
