Singapore Zoo, HD Experience

Take a look at my blog review of Singapore Zoo: http://backpackerlee.wordpress.com/2013/10/21/singapore-zoo/ My 3rd ever visit to the world's best zoo (新加坡动物园, சிங்கப்பூர் விலங்குக் காட்சிச்சாலை) and still as memorable as the first time! My favourite part of the zoo is the Bornean Orangutan Exhibit, which includes free-roaming babies overhead! This time around, I also finally got the chance to see Kai Kai, in his new panda forest exhibit, which will be fully open when the River Safari opens later in 2013. Unfortunately, Kia Kia's mate Jia Jia was hiding somewhere and nobody could see her. Something else I enjoyed was seeing the infamous white tigers swimming in the water - something I had not been lucky enough to witness on my previous visits. If you considering visiting the Zoo, it is advisable to purchase tickets for the Night Safari and/or Jurong Bird Park as part of a combo ticket, as this saves a lot of money (although remember the Bird Park is not located onsite, so an extra taxi ride is required). Recorded March 18, 2013.

  8. Can you swim with the monkeys?
  9. Then they shouldn't be released. But we shouldn't breed them. So we can't get rid of zoos right away but maybe we can at least release other species if we help them and at the very least once all the animals in the zoos die from age that will be the end
  10. No, you cannot swim with the tigers. You would get killed.
  11. Very philosophical. But some things, such as White Tigers, do not live in the wild. What would happen to them when they are released? Do you not think they would get killed by normal tigers?
  12. Can you swim with the tiger ?
  13. someday zoos will be a thing of the past everyone will be free
  14. Good news..For me anyway. I am going back in October for more. I will definatly be going to the zoo
  15. The River Safari is right next to the zoo.. they share a ticket office and you can buy a combined ticket for both.
  16. hey there! there's a new attraction between the singapore zoo and night safari called the River Safari. it shows all the fishes found in the mighty rivers like the nile and mekong.you can get the spectacular view of the upper seletar reservoir from that place. the admission to the panda sanctuary is included in the park's ticket.you need to wait for few more years starting from 2014 to see more fish species coming to the park and the park's cruise which is due to be completed by late 2013.
  17. Shame you missed the zoo, but hopefully you will get there next time with a bit better weather!
  18. River Safari is a separate ticketed area of the Singapore Zoo. The Night Safari is just across the way from the Zoo. And the newest place in Singapore apart from River Safari is probably the S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa. It is well worth a look!
  19. @ LeeClaxton : "RIver Safari" is in the same are with Night Safari or where? On december i'll go to sg again n can u tell me what is the newest place in sg?
  20. Well I have been. Had a great time. Was there for 4 days. Not enough time and 2 days of rain so I missed the zoo. Also went to Malaysia which included the Petronas Towers. Will post in the next few days. Went to SEA aquarium, Universal Studios & Singapore Flyer. Need to go back
