So many ignorant comments in this thread. It's TOWER BRIDGE, it's next to the Tower Of London so it's not hard to remember that. London Bridge is the next one to the West, but the present London Bridge has NOT been there since the 13th Century. Tower Bridge was built by the Victorians. The Thames is now relatively clean but it's tidal around tower bridge, hence the silt & sediment in the water. And it's apparently only a few feet deep in Central London, though I've never tried walking across to test this theory out.

Also matt cumming there is a London Bridge in London. It's to the west (the next bridge along) of Tower Bridge. Also it's the oldest bridge in London originating in the 13th Century (not sure of exact date) :)
