Students Challenge World Record for 'Cup Stacking'



http://www.ctvvancouverisland.ca http://www.facebook.com/ctvvi NANAIMO -- Students at Aspengrove School in Nanaimo spent the day joining a world-wide effort to break a Guinness record for most people simultaneously cup stacking at once. The school participates annually in the event that attracts more than 450,000 students from around the world. Cup stacking is a popular sport that sees students test their hand-eye coordination while stacking cups in a pyramid. Teachers gather students in the school's gymnasium and run them through a variety of different events and routines. Last year, the "Stack Up" event saw 412,259 students from as far as New Zealand participate in the event.
