  6. This race is not to be confused with Masterkova's 1500m win at Atlanta Games, 1996, 4:00:84. This race is in fact the mile (1609.32m - IAAF) and I believe the current world record again by Masterkova. She won this mile race 11 days after 1996 games and Jamal has come closest with 4:17.
