12. saddest NBA story ever imo. Even more than Rose. McGrady had so much potential and he showed it on shit teams like this one and the orlando team he was on. Im a laker fan of 24 years, and I will even say at one point he was tied with Kobe for best player in the league. And the scary thing is he probably practiced half as much as Kobe and was still that good. Wish I could seen him shine and duking it out against Kobe, giving him a real challenge.
