Taoufik Makhloufi (ALG) Wins 1500m Gold - London 2012 Olympics

Algeria's Taoufik Makhloufi wins the gold medal in the men's 1500m event in the Olympic Stadium at the London 2012 Olympic Games (7 August). Makhloufi was followed by Manzano (USA) winning the silver medal and Iguider (NAR) winning bronze. Leonel Manzano 2nd Place from USA 🇺🇸 is a Great Atlethe a great person too, I had the privilege to know him in person back in High School in class of 2003 in Marble Falls TX, We played soccer together 😃 but his thing was running, the Best in TX Broke too many records !!! I remember him taking me home after soccer games because my parents wouldn't go pick me up I would offer him Gas money and he never accepted it. He is a Great example of courage and leadership!!! Proud of his Latino Heritage 🇲🇽 !!!

15. 7:13 Just before Makhloufi started to move up he got jostled a bit by Kiplagat who was trying to pass him on the outside. It looks to me like he got pissed off and decided to take his anger out by moving his legs faster than anyone else.
