THE 107TH WORLD SERIES, GAME 6 - October 27, 2011

Comments

  1. As a Rangers fan, this still stings worse than a fire ant
  2. My cousin was at this game , must have been an AMAZING experience!
  3. Anyone get goosebumps from this game
  4. One of my favorite moments in sports history. It's a shame I can barely remember watching it.
  5. Cubs vs Indians game 7 was better due the fact Rangers vs Cardinals wasnt a game 7.But man, imagine if it were.

-indians fan we blew 3-1 lead
  6. I'd always liked the Cardinals, but this game made me a fan for life. Since it happened I've been to St. Louis twice and seen four games at Busch. I've spent some of the best weeks of my life in Missouri (I live near Seattle). I've been to the top of the Arch, gone jet skiing in Lake of the Ozarks, and had some of the best pork ribs and frozen custard in the world, and I'm certain none of it one of it would've happened if I hadn't watched this game six years ago. I don't love the Cards because of St. Louis; I love St. Louis because of the Cards.
  7. I'm a guy from Holland who is totally into football (soccer). In Europe it's really all about football, I play it and I watch it on tv. But to me there's something special and magical about baseball. I found out about this game only 6 months ago. The Cards just one strike away from losing the game in both the 9th and 10th inning. The devastating Hamilton homerun in the 10th inning making it 9-7, and still the Cards manage to come back. I love how Berkman saved the game at 4:52:35. And then the Freese Walk off home run.. wow! This is a game I just can't get out of my mind. It haunts me. To me it's the most epic game of all time and of all sports. Every time I watch this I get goosebumps at the key moments of this game. I love American baseball and I wish there would be far more tv coverage and interest in my country for this great sport.
  8. SPOILER ALERT!

    Cardinals win.
  9. I'm a blue jays fan and my favourite team in national league is Cardinals, I just love when rangers lose, and u know why, does anybody else know games where Texas has lost in a big game
  10. This is one of those games I wish I could watch for the first time again
  11. this used to be my favorite world series game until this years game 7
  12. This game is responsible for a Texas curse called "The Curse of Nolan Ryan." The Astros are cursed with "The Curse of J.R. Richard." When J.R. Richard suffered a stroke in 1980, that started the curse for them.
  13. if cruz had just run out freese's "triple" in the 9th the Rangers would have a WS championship.
  14. I am 10 year cardinals fan, this game is fantastic game to me!!
  15. Great multiple comebacks, but a sloppy game. Texas made a mistake when they walked Pujols.
  16. much respect to the Cardinals despite wanting Texas to win it. they fought with every fiber in their bodies and came back TWICE with their backs to the wall and pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in baseball history. the angels pulled off a 5-0 comeback late in the game to win against the Giants also in a game six, but this game tops it in terms of suspense. twice they were down to their final strike and twice they took sweet, sweet victory from the Rangers. hats off.
  17. I'm a Cardinal fan and will admit that I couldn't watch those last strikes on Freese or Berkman, I stood in the hall away from the TV and only ran back when I heard the crack of the bat and roar of the crowd. At that point Joyful pandemonium sets in!
  18. Still better than the cubs winning game 7
  19. One of the Top 5 sporting events I have seen in my lifetime; possibly number 1 on that list (it's between this game and the 2008 Wimbledon final)
