16. One thing that is also important, is to not be afraid to make a mistake. I have ridden around 15 tests by now, and for the first two or three tests, i either forgot where i was in the test, or rode the wrong exercise, and that was okay, we can´t always be perfect and when we make those mistakes we remember the test even better. Remember to keep track of where you´re riding, and breathe, it´s only a dressage test, it won´t kill you to make one or two or even more mistakes, take it as an experience for next time! :)

I find that my dressage tests at home are lovely, perfect etc, all in control and I can remember the whole thing, but when I actually get into the ring, I freak out and forget it etc, and it's a new environment which doesn't help, and because I'm so focussed in remembering the test, I forget to check my diagonals etc. Any tips on learning a test?
19. Nooo. I needed that. I have my first test this weekend! I don't have time to get the rest.
20. I have recently moved barns my confidence has dropped a unhealthy amount. Any tips? I do dressage as well, if that helps any.
