Number Six: Thalassomedon is a creature whose name translates to "sea lord", and rightfully so, as it was 40 feet long, and was at the top of its food chain Number Seven: Dakosaurus was discovered in germany. it quickly became one of the top predators of the time, and its not difficult to see why. Number Eight: Shastasaurus is the largest marine reptile species ever discovered, measuring at 65 feet long! you may be asking, why wasn't it higher up on the food chain? well, this particular creature was not very aggressive, mainly suction feeding on small fish.
