  1. When Scorpio comes out we need an updated vid haha
  2. Teuer
  3. What would you pick between the Sony X800D and the Samsung KU7000 ? The Samsung is also around 20% cheaper where I live. I'll use it as a PC monitor and for HDR gaming via PS4 Pro
  4. Rtings reports the wrong input lag on many Sony models.
  5. about another year or 2 before I get one.
  6. lol the samsung k8000s is a fairly cheap tv. at 55" its now 999 at bestbuy, so many paid premium new. another reason to stay 1 year behind in tech. bump up a meaningless 5" its 1500! and bump up to 65" its still 1500! silly consumers.
  7. dont go oled its overpriced and no better than new led my buddy wasted $ on one and its no better than my led. For console gaming especially for the new Scorpio all you need is LED, HDR, a tv where u can turn off motion 120 and 240 as it hurts 4k gaming buy fighting with other hardware and upscales 4k instead of getting native 4k. HDMIs of course! 49" sony is great for 799 currently at bestbuy its what i have in my bedroom and works with pc so consoles will work great.
DONT BE STUPID! more expensive doesnt mean better tv. forget oled its nothing special.
and with consoles it doesnt matter what refresh rates it has as you will only be doing 60fps average so a 60hz is fine, dont be fooled by 120 and 240 motion its meaningless for gaming. if you plan to game pc forget about it, you will need over 1200 in gpu just to get 60fps on big screen.
  8. Get an OLED B6 55 for 1700 this November and you'll have a good TV
  9. the KS7000 has a firmware update that enables HDR in game mode
  10. Who else is here after The Xbox One X specs reveal?
  11. U forget that consoles actually output a screen that is optimized for gaming mode! But good vid
  12. oled ain't new tech man!!!..
  13. Fxxxxxck
  14. Best gaming TV is Samsung KS8500 65inch.
  15. there's no such thing as a KS7000... he's talking about a KU7000... SMH
  16. 1:13 "Chasing the human vision system"

Praise be to the Creator .
  17. Considering I would use the TV as a monitor and for HDR gaming, what would you recommend, the non-curved Samsung KU6400 or the curved Samsung KU6100 ? I think I would enjoy the curved one, but if it's a big loss in image quality and HDR game compatibility I wouldn't trade that just because of the curve. I tried several sites for reviews but it's pretty hard to find a good review on the KU6100 and even harder to find a comparison between the two.
Please keep in mind that these are the only two models I can pick between, because in my country, the KS series costs about 3 to 4 times the KU ones, the KU6300 is not available anywhere in my country, neither are Vizio TVs (Which I would have chose, the P series more exactly) and if I have to pick another one it would be the LG UH7700 series, but seeing them side by side in the Store I think the KU6400 is a lot better (and cheaper as well), and the UH7700 has some problems when watching at night, which I will do a lot.
    Thank you in advance!
  18. 2018 & 2019 4K UHDTVs will be best as well as the Scorpio
  19. hey is ku6300 is a good to pair with ps4 pro.will this tv give satisfying results.plz reply
  20. I have one of the top all around bang for buck premium sets of 2016 when it comes to picture quality and gaming, the VizioP(65inch) 4kHdr10+ one of the very few that has DolbyVision [12bit hdr of the future] which is Full Array Backlit. Here's my advice, given how close Oled is in affordability and factoring in that (the real 4k consoles, unless you're ocd like me with Pro) both Scorpio & Ps5 will be released at the very end of 2017 to 2018+ instead go with a solid inexpensive 4khdr set if you "have to have a 4khdr now" or simply wait till 2018 and pickup an Oled for nearly the same price that many Led sets go for now.

Use your heads. Scorpio won't be picking up steam until 2018 and Ps5 won't be released till 2019 earliest.

Save your money, if you're smart save the unnecesary spending and pickup the Scorpio near it's release date instead then an Oled set by 3rd quarter 2108 or 2019, finally a Ps5 for it's release. This way you own both 4k gaming systems (Scorpio replacing the temporary 4k Led set that will probably be outdated in 2019) and the best investment in terms of future proof longevity the Tv market has to offer, an Oled. So let's recap.

    1. Pickup Scorpio instead of expensive Led4khdr.

    2. Pickup Oled by end of 2018 to 2019.

    3. Pickup Ps5.

This way you don't have to worry about shit because you'll have it all and have the space needed to save for all three of these.
