  1. Hi Andrew

Years ago I came across a handwriten map in a 4x4 shop in Namibia. I am quite sure that it was made by you. Do you have this kind of maps still.. Do you have more of them (eks Namibia, Botswana) I would love to get my hands on them again
  2. G'day Andrew nice video & yes it seams to be a Hugh show well done to the organizers, it would be good to have shows like that hear in Australia. The one thing that amazed me was your purchase of the wind break devise with plastic hinges, I really do not see the worth in it because we all know that plastic hinges especially like the thin strip you have has no longevity it might be good for twelve months or so but it simply wont last mate.
  3. Have you heard zee Gestapo joke?
    No I haven't.
    (slap across face) LIAR!!!
  4. What a superb expo for 4x4 enthusiasts!
  5. I wonder where can I get those plastic hinges as pikra used for their folding table, any ideas ? Very best Andrew !
  6. 7:35, that's great!
  7. I would love to film that expo. maybe I can get a company to sponsor my trip? lol its a long way away from Las Vegas where I'm from. great show! I can only enjoy the overland expo in Arizona for now.
  8. 11:35
Don't say that too loud in Europe, 80% of overlanders and offroaders use the Defender here :P
  9. jajajajajaaa!!1 We're all chairmans here!!!
  10. I watch your vids alot. Im looking for a batwing awning that will work on a trailer instead of the TV ive seen foxwing here in california, but it has way to many poles and tent pole lines, any suggestions?
  11. At 0:29 That very first white "troopy" gwagon camper (looks like it's on portal axles), anyone know who makes it?
  12. Amazing
  13. Another great show ! I am gutted that I couldn't attend this year. Hopefully will be there for 2017 and arriving on 4 wheels instead of two like last year. Will you be returning next year Andrew ? It's a long way from Oz !
  14. Great channel, I love your insight. I have yet to see you do anything on Unimogs. Have you? To big? Or?
  15. MB, (WW2 vintage) a CJ2 has a bezel around the headlamp... ( I had a 48 CJ2A)
  16. That does look like a great show to visit. I tried to avoid shows in general, but if I'm ever in a position to start travelling like that I'll definetely will go there first for inspiration.

BTW the last bit of abenteuer isn't pronounced as 'ture' but as 'toyer', the first bit is spot on. Makes you sound like you belong in The Eagle Has Landed, mixing abenteuer and adventure together.
  17. Andrew have you considered using American heavy duty pick-ups as a base for you next build? I know it might be inconvenient in terms of parts and maintenance but you would get much higher payload, space and arguably better on road performance from the diesel versions. What do you think?
  18. Seriously, why can't you convince yourself to feel a bit patriotic and go for a Marauder conversion? You say, high vehicles might catch branches - not the Marauder, since you won't even hear as it drags along the occasional acacia tree… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDoRmT0iRic
  19. Presume the dislikes was due to someone thinking they were going to see some funny cats or something.
Excellent as usual :) PS, How is the move to Australia going? (Only just seen the video you put out last july saying you were moving).
  20. Don't mention the war - I did but I think I got away with it.......
