2. you both have some good points. setting up a pc can also mean installing but that isn't an issue.
   
   pc does have better graphics if you got a good graphics card and a 4k monitor.
   
   consoles and pc are very similar these days. both needs to install the games etc etc. all can be ran through the TV. I got a 4k tv so if I decided to buy a TV I wouldn't need to buy a pc monitor. the only issue is where to place the keyboard and mouse because you'd need a high enough table to place them on.
   
   I had an issue with gta 4 on pc.
   
   both have their pros and cons and none is more superior than the other.
   
   these days you can even use a game controller on the pc and with all these apps you'll can control your games system from your pc. xbox play anywhere. just ashame it's digital games only.
   
   I don't know about requirements for pc games these days years ago you had to look at the back of the box to see if it was compatible with your pc. I got a 8gb ram laptop I would love to play some games on it. hook it upto my TV and just play.
   
   people have their preference and I respect that.
   
   a downside to pc is often they wait longer for a game than the consoles do e.g. gta V. but the biggest seller for all is exclusives you will always get the system pc or console that gives the exclusives you want 1st and more. for example if PlayStation (console) had say 6 exclusives coming out that I wanted and pc only had 2 then I'm going to buy a PlayStation. but at the end of the day they all do the same when it comes to gaming. it is just how you play it and how it displays unless you use a controller on all.
3. when i was a console peasent, i always had an issue with the controller, i had two original xbox 360 wireless controllers, and something would always go wrong, i asked my cousin, and he had the same issue. then i switched to using the charging wire, to keep it on, and yea, worked great, till suddenly it would no longer cmon, since then, i never played console, then found out the wire broke, when i switched to pc... to say that there are no issues on console is just ignorance, i can say right now that i have never had an problem with my pc/laptop, and thatd be wrong, ive done a few dodgy downloads, which coused thousands of malwares, because i have the option to download, but there is always a fix, and i fixed it, in 30 mins, with a scan, easy. or my audio, cause i was messing around with it, i accidently deleted the drivers, lol... easy just trouble shoot it... hell even downloading a whole os on my ancient computer from xp to win.10 is as easy as hell, but anything that goes wrong with consoles, you cant open it up, and find a fix, unless you wonna void ur warranty.
   there is nothing you can do. especially if your budget based, and your parants dont wonna put up with paying for the repairs and stuff... your screwed. (well as you can tell about the paying problems, i dont think there gonna pay for 60 $ a year just for live account, and can only get games when there on sale, while on pc, just head over to g2a, and you have tones of discounted games at your disposel) srry for making you all read a wall of text, xD

6. Technically Bertie the Brain was first in 1950 (a Knots and Crosses game).  Though I'm trying to figure out if Turochamp counts as the first game.  The chess simulator was coded in 1948, but couldn't run on any computer until 1952.
