The Biggest High School Stadium in the World(Allen High School Eagle Stadium) - Time-lapse

Time-lapse of 2013 Texas vs. the Nation all-star college football game. The game was played at the new, $59.6-million Eagle Stadium, in Allen, Texas, where the Allen High School Eagles began playing in the fall of 2012. Shot on February 2nd, 2013 with a GoPro Hero2 camera. Music: Nick Singer - Marathon The Forerunner Mix (Beta) http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01660/ UPDATE: The stadium is not full in the video because this was not a regular Allen High School event. It was a college senior exhibition game. The stadium fills up regularly on Friday nights, in the fall. Also, Allen Eagle Stadium is the largest venue constructed for a single high school. It has a capacity of 18,000 seats, which is less than some other venues, like Mesquite Memorial which has 20,000. However, all of the "high school" facilities that claim to be larger, were either built by school districts to serve as the home stadium for multiple schools, or they are just college/professional fields.

  3. This stadium is big yes, but what's the point if it's barely filled up, id prefer a smaller stadium that's packed than a large stadium where the empty seats out number the people there
  4. Pretty sure my high school stadium holds 22K, but ya know, believe what ya want.
  5. Have they repaired it yet? They should have built an upper deck on both side and lose the endzone sets
