  1. he's statpadding rebounds... He's averaging 8 uncontested rebounds and per game on a team with very good rebounders.... because they're conceding the boards to him and he's not contesting perimeter jumpers to go and get extra boards.

Russ is last in the NBA at contesting perimeter jumpshots among players who play more than 30 minutes per game.... BY A WIDE MARGIN.
  2. You should make a video about whether an assist helps a team as much as a turnover hurts a team. I don't believe they are equal. Sometimes, I like to redact the final score and see if I can guess the winner based on certain statistical outcomes and while I've done this , I've come to realize that wins (after points) are mostly decided firstly, by who gets more rebounds, secondly, turnovers, thirdly, field goal percentage. When Russel has 10 assists but 7 turnovers, I'd say his net is 0 as far as how he's helped his squad. That's why people like Chris Paul or Steve Nash back in the day. They would average like 10-14 assists but keep their turnovers under 3 a game. That is an advantage. Russ' shooting percentage is garbage imo, I think that is what a lot of people mean by padding his stats. Most people argue that if you're going to treat every night like you're Kobe's retirement game, well of course you're going to put up 30.

We keep talking about how he plays on a team full of people who aren't all stars, well wouldn't a great leader develop his team into allstars? I think the fact that a season has passed and he is still the only real option demonstrates his failure to develop talent on his roster. Steven Adams has the potential to be one of the best bigmen in the league, he was a huge factor why they almost beat GSW last year.

Stats with no wins shouldn't be rewarded with an MVP. The history of the award shows us that the top squad's leader gets the bid. I think Kawai has a strong case, but because stats don't include how he's a defensive monster, he goes unappreciated in MVP talks. However, his squad is obviously better than OKC, so that must count for something.

I mean, Russ might be out first round. Let's not make the MVP some triviality, Let's give it to the guy you want on your squad in the finals. I'd still rather have a LeBron, a Kawai, a Durant, or a Curry before you give me a Russ. The most important stat is still the W column, and 6th seed no where near GSW or San Antonio isn't impressive at all.
  3. I hope u realize the usage rate discredits his stats, He has the highest usage rate in NBA history which means he should be able to get those stats. Dumbass
  4. I can't even average a triple double in mycareer, and my player is 99 rated.
  5. he is stat padding especially on rebounds.
  6. Westbrook already broke the record for most triple doubles in a game.
  7. u don't need 3 pts shooters for assist a good mid is all u need or getting in the lane he may not have 3 pt shooters but they all can shoot mid range or lay up. I'm just saying
  8. Uncontested rebounds are a normalcy in today's game. Russel gets my vote. You take him away from OKC and they are a lottery team maybe just above the Knicks. Houston, Cleveland and San Antonio would all make the playoffs without their star player.
  9. Stat padding is stealing rebounds from teammates and passing the ball until you get a triple double
  10. I don't give. Damn about that usage rate, he gonna make history y'all need o deal with it. He isn't stat stuffing he's trying to lead this team.
  11. Westbrook and Harden are now the only players in NBA history to have 400+ turnovers in a season.
  12. I believe the triple double is an overrated accolade because how does it help his team he just wastes all his energy trying to get pointless rebounds doesn't push the ball up the court with the pass he just is a ball hog that will only pass if you are wide open from three or cutting to the hoop he has 0 trust in his teammates
  13. This nigga doin that 2k shit
  14. How is he stat stuffing? The nigga didn't purposely choose a bad team
  15. Bru I love Russ even tho I am a cavs fan I love russ
  16. He'll never win a ring 💍
  17. i understand what you are saying but i literally seen Westbrook stat stuff I seen occasions where they were up in a blow out and where they were down in a blowout he played all throughout the fourth quarter to get a triple double and extra points
  18. Westbrook shoots a ton. His points also are a little inflated then too. Rebounds are the worst, and his defense isn't verygood
  19. Just to add.. Russ would average more assist than harden if he had better shooters. As a fan I watch the thunder games and he passes a lot and the thunder misses a lot. That would also include dunks and open layups!! I've seen it all from okc this year!!
  20. Thanks for this video! I agree with you
