However, in many cases, the data and information that schools depended on to write their books and lesson is outdated and debunked for several years, much to the blissful ignorance of the students and their parents. The tests will have the wrong answers, and students will go through their life learning the wrong information until they are told otherwise. When we find out that our teachers are wrong, we go through a bit of an identity crisis where we don’t know who to believe or trust anymore. One of the most shocking bits of information is realizing that George Washington probably did tell a lie and denied that he chipped down that cherry tree, or finding out that Thomas Edison really didn’t invent the lightbulb. With all of the misinformation still being taught in school, it can be hard to figure out whether or not to still have students in the public school system. But at the end of the day, we have to accept that a particular view and perspective on history, science, math, English, and more are all taught through rose-colored glasses and we are always learning someone else’s version of academics. In this video are some of the biggest lies that have been taught in school. 5. I dnt think ppl really mean the fact that the founding fathers were Christian is the theory or whatnot. I think it's the fact that the constitution and our basic rights as humans were based off Christianity and the bible and most laws are based upon what the bible describes as sin's.

10. Thomas Edison perfected the light bulb a filament which was his invention caused the bulb to work. It's far better than those of today when I was in College a bulb went out it was from 1917.
11. The biggest lie in this video is the very first lie. All of the founding fathers were Christian. Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson were Christian. That is a known fact. Their writings prove it.

As for the two "Lies" I witnessed in my 49 seconds. #1; I never remember the Founding Fathers being referred to as Christians...The whole Freedom of Religion thing comes to mind. #2; This is a Truism! Until later in life I discovered that Edison used others knowledge to make it happen. Although he was the first to make it feasible! (From Comments) Blue Bloods...Are you serious!? I explicitly remember many of my teachers saying this was a myth. Teachers, "Your Blood already has Oxygen in it." I didn't make it that far in the video. I assume that is the punch line of the myth?...
