The Biggest Loser's 3 Biggest Lies

Video for Women: http://funpal.org/AbsForWomen Video for Men: http://funpal.org/AbsForMen The Biggest Loser is certainly an entertaining television show, but unfortunately it is full of inaccurate health and fitness information. For starters, the show makes you think that losing weight is a difficult endeavor -- but this is not true. In fact, losing weight is usually a pretty easy endeavor because your diet determines about 80% of your success or failure. In other words, all you have to do to lose weight is to eat different foods! (The only diet that I currently recommend is the Primal (or Paleo) Diet. Secondly, The Biggest Loser tells us that weight loss depends on calories. But this is not true either -- calories tend to be a secondary cause of weight gain. The primary cause of weight gain in most people is hormone imbalance. The Primal Diet (which I recommended above) has been known to help bring our hormones back into balance, which often results in the normalization of body weight. Lastly, The Biggest Loser instructs us to eat a low-fat diet, but modern science has proven this to be nonsense. In fact, studies have been done which clearly show that low-carbohydrate diets outperform low-fat diets. Additionally, fat is crucial for providing us with fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K. Saturated fat also provides us with a feeling of satiety so that we don't crave more food after we're done eating. 4. Changing diet is a key component of losing weight, yes, BUT a change in nutrition is not always enough to stimulate weight loss. That is why exercise is so important in weight loss.
