Kind of a Nascar history lesson here. This video is all about the major crashes that have changed the safety in Nascar to what it's become today.

What did he say?
The COT, made racing safer at the expense of the racing product. Still hasn't recovered to this day.
what a crazy sport ! these idiots risking there lives and ultimately some loosing there lives ! stupidity! all for what !a few moments selfish ego seeking glory !
pretty soon nascar is going to look a lot like slot cars....
Maybe I should buy and NASCAR if I want to drive safely
Lol. "Amazing" crashes.
Fucking Rednecks
I think they were still using gasoline until shortly after Roberts was killed. Gasoline was much more volatile than later fuels.
4:49 reminds me of the crash in the movie "cars" with chick and dinoco
good job mr. engineers
Why would you call it "NASCARS" NASCAR stands for National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. So does it make sense to call it a NASCAR? No. Don't make a video if you know nothing about the sport.
Nascar is a pussy's sport, that's why I don't like it. Every time something happens they feel they have to do something about it when they should just leave it alone as a gladiator's sport. Take a stock car fresh from the dealership and race that with no modifications. . . . . not even a helmet for the driver. THAT I would watch. . . . Also for the love of God, NOT on a boring oval track.
love the vid so educational (lel)
this has to be the best amateur documentaries where the music compliments the footage.
ARCA DRIVERS, NASCAR, LYNRD SKYNRD, THIS IS AMERICA AT THEIR BEST
theres bin worse
what a good, smart video! 95% of crash videos are the same montage with crappy music over it. Thank you for putting this together - I am not really a racing fan so it's interesting to see how all these safety measures were implemented
The intro song sounded kinda like the music played on the radio in Silent Hills P.T. Until I released it was free bird.
The instant, and I mean THE instant I heard Free Bird . . . done. And I so wanted to watch this video.
