The Dark Side Of The Universe

For all we understand about the universe, 96% of what’s out there still has scientists in the dark. Astronomical observations have established that familiar matter—atoms—accounts for only 4% of the weight of the cosmos. The rest—dark matter and dark energy—is invisible to our telescopes. But what really is this dark stuff? How do we know it’s there? And what does it do? From the formation of galaxies to the farthest reaches of space, it appears that darkness rules. Without dark matter and dark energy, the universe today and in the far future would be a completely different place. We were joined by leading researchers who smash together particles, dive into underground mines, and explore the edges of the known universe in search of clues to nature’s dark side. The World Science Festival gathers great minds in science and the arts to produce live and digital content that allows a broad general audience to engage with scientific discoveries. Our mission is to cultivate a general public informed by science, inspired by its wonder, convinced of its value, and prepared to engage with its implications for the future. 1. I may have missed it, but did they say whether they considered the cumulative mass of all the stuff as we move further away from the centers of galaxies, including stellar black holes and objects too faint to show on telescopes? Did they consider the interlocked movements of moons, planets, stars, star systems, etc., and how each drags the other and is itself being dragged? No wonder they all go at pretty much the same speed when they are connected like the cars of a train ... maybe!
  2. Dark matter/energy= consciousness/emotions, like they are saying dark matter created everything, God if you will, one day they will realize the mind is separate from the body, just how the dark matter and energy interact with the physical world as shown in the underground experiments, mind can change the physical in small ways, like how holistic medicine practices work. dark matter/energy unites everything just like quantum entanglement shows everything is connected. They will never find consciousness, emotions or memories in the physical body.....
  3. I figured out everything
  4. lets put our heads together
  5. First 30 minutes of this shit was a waste of fucking time, why do they always have to try and make science into something else, just let the people who are in the field and study it speak and shut the fuck up I didn't need to watch some dumbass dance shit and I sure as hell could live without ever having to hear hotwheels over there speak again I can't stand that guy lmfao no pun intended, seriously tho I'm sorry he's in a wheelchair and I wish he could walk but he really does annoy the fuck out of me, how he tries to throw in his political jabs in a science conference, it's like we get it your probably a leftist hack stfu now "journalists"
  6. I'm still not entirely convinced of the presence of either dark energy or matter, as there are alot of math and theories that require them to exist, rather than seeing an honest interaction with them.

What perpetuates this... is a personal inability to accept that electromagnetic force applies to everything in the universe, pushes them apart, holds them together... but can't be gravity. gravity holds objects together, EM does the same, everywhere else, but they ARENT the same. this doesn't compute.
  7. alright, how about this: the universe's density is inversely proportional to it's size. big bang happens. as matter reaches the edge of the universe,it is effectively tending towards infinity in size. having near infinite size, it's density(mass) tends towards zero. having a mass of zero positive(expressed as information a.k.a time) it can redistribute itself evenly(ish) across the cosmos, instantaneously, it's already near infinite in size. so the matter gets converted to space-time. that redistribution causes the expansion on the universe (distance over time). that inflation is how matter can reach the edge of the universe. so there'll be a heat death, and just short of infinite amount of space-time. since the universe is self-contained(educated guess) it's accelerating because as the volume of time-space builds up, the ratio of matter drops.
  8. Can anyone point me to a site that explains why the universe's expansion temporarily slowed in the Inflation theory?
  9. you are the many mutch my friendsly
  10. You'll never 'find' dark energy in our Universe, because dark energy is actually energy created from our pressure-universe growing into a perfect-vacuum hypersphere. And dark matter is the easiest of all.....Dark matter is simply the gravitation detected from matter that has been eaten by the black hole and launched out into other dimensions. Math says that, in string theory, all forces are contained within their dimensions, except gravity...which permeates them all.Big bangs and black holes are two sides of the same coin. Our 'big bang' was the result of a gigantic star collapsing in another universe and giving us ours.Let me know when my trip to Stockholm is finalized.
  11. why is she using particularly , xenon ??
  12. Lady annoys me. Either talk truth and fact or do NOT talk at all. This is a real runaround. typical talk about something that cannot be seen. Sounds like religion

  14. Informative, but I'm still highly skeptical of both dark matter and dark energy.
  15. Almost 2 hours.... Nope. Next video.
  16. Next time divide the talk evenly between men and women.
  17. dark matter(1p), dark energy(3p), gravity(3p) all are same thing, related by ch= gm*2, 3p = (3p-p) + p(2p is expansion rate of universe), dark energy as cosmological constant as vacuum energy which caused by gravity pull from another universes outside ours, (ch/g)^0.5*(hg/c^3)^0.5 =h/c,which equal to radius time mass of proton divided by 4*pi/3 let ch = x, x + x/3 + x/3/(2*pi)= 100% get regular matter 3.83% of proton in up quark from down quark have (1/3) e- get 3.83/3 = 1.27(%) for real matter, CH/(6*pi) = C*(h*2*pi)/(6*pi) = ch/3 = 24.04% treat quark as string not point, prove string are real as a principle Ch = E*L for 10^-122
  18. Scientists say that more than 90% of the known universe is made up of something they call dark matter and dark energy. They know it is there because of its gravitational effects on things they can see, but that is all they know about it. This dark energy could be where we find the collective unconscious. We know the collective unconscious exists for the same reasons; we can see its effects on life. At this time, the only way we can know the collective unconscious mind exists is that it has to. We needed help to get to where we are now. Find out the real truth about life and death, Find out the truth about the big picture of life in general.
