8. A terrible dream for a drone is the suppression of the GPS channel by special EW devices. Such "jammers" have a radius of effective suppression of about 150 km with the fact that they weigh only about 10 kg. Mount this device can be on any protected object or mobile chassis of almost any car. With the help of such devices, it is possible to disorient almost any American system based on GPS - a drones, an aerial bomb, a cruise missile. Inthe case of a drone, it is enough to find out the trajectory or
   calculate the course by which it flies - and organize an "ambush" of ten to fifteen such "jammers" in the specified area. However,
   there is in the arsenal of experts on EW and another interesting device - the so-called spoofing attacks on the navigation system UAV. In the course of such an attack, the specialist sends pre-programmed "fake" signals to the GPS-receivers of the UAV, giving him false coordinates for the flight, which UAV systems perceive as correct. Within a minute, a maximum of two, after such an attack - drones cease to fly the same course and immediately takes "new" coordinates. Such an "attack" can be carried out by any air defense system (the Russian, in particular, is capable of larger-scale things). And in the event that a flight over the area is carried out by several UAVs at the same time - then the success will be fantastic.
