The Most Active Volcanoes In The World

These are the most dangerous and active volcanoes in the world. Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg Description: Volcanoes are both fascinating, and absolutely terrifying. They possess such natural beauty that only Mother Nature can paint, but yet they are the most destructive creation on this Earth. Ironically, volcanoes bring in new creation and landscape, all while destroying the area around it. Countless movies and television shows have used volcanoes as plot points for this very reason. These mega mountains of doom are actually very important to the ecosystem of the planet. They relieve pressure from the lava that brews below. There are thousands of dormant volcanoes around the world, plus hundreds of active volcanoes that take in thousands of visitors each year. You’re probably thinking that visiting a volcano is pretty risky. What happens if it erupts while you’re there? Well, at that point, there isn’t much you can do, except pray for your survival. The active volcanoes in this video are actually a good thing because they are a bit more predictable than the sleeping volcanoes, such as the one at Yellowstone National Park. It is pretty much a super volcano, and should it ever erupt, it will take out about 2/3 of the United States and cause a volcanic winter, not to mention pretty much decimating the county’s population. The Shileyuch Volcano in Russia has been in constant eruption since 1999, which means it probably doesn’t get that many visitors anymore due to it being too risky. The Piton de la Fournaise located on Reunion Island isn’t in constant eruption, but it does have a few spurts here and there, relieving that pressure to avoid a complete explosion of lava. In Italy, Mount Etna’s most recent eruption was in 2013. Since volcanoes are pretty unpredictable, it’s hard to tell whether the mountain is done for now. Of course, if you’ve ever been to Hawaii, you’ve probably seen the Kilauea, which is a volcano that is helping the Hawaiian Islands grow and expand for the last thousand years. Kilauea has reached newfound popularity recently with people posting YouTube videos of them putting random objects in the lava and watching it melt. While it may initially seem like that these videos are trivializing the power of lava, they serve as a reminder of how deadly and powerful the molten magma is and how it can destroy anything and anyone in its path The Erta Ale Volcano in Ethiopia has been in constant eruption since 1967. This particular volcano is a shield volcano, meaning that it’s not really an explosive eruption. Camera crews can still visit the site with little to no problem. One of the more dramatic volcanoes is the Sakurajima, which is located in Japan. It has been in constant eruption since 1955, and the eruptions can be dramatic sometimes. There are cameras pointed at the volcano at all times, and given how small of an island Japan is, let us hope that the eruptions don’t become any bigger or more dramatic. There are definitely more active volcanoes where that came from. Should you find yourself wanting to visit one of these places, proceed with caution!
