The Most Epic Beginner Beekeeping Workshop Ever - 628DirtRooster

This was the most epic beginner beekeeping workshop I've ever seen or been a part of so if you've seen a beginner beekeeping class more epic than this one then I apologize for proclaiming this one the most epic. LOL This event was a hit and was really fun. The weather turned bad the night before and I think something like 30 or 40 people either couldn't make it due to flooding or didn't make the drive because it was forecast to storm all that day. As soon as the class was over the rain came but it held out for the entire event. This was held at Bauer Honey's location in Mississippi. They are one of the largest honey producers in the world. There were about 15 professional or seasoned hobby beekeepers there to teach and offer assistance with every aspect of the class from beekeeping basics to grafting and queen rearing. This was a beekeeping 101 on steroids. Through the video you'll get to see bits and pieces of most of the workshop. I wasn't able to be everywhere so if you want to see the rest you'll have to come to the next one and build your nucs. I think a little over 100 nuc hives left the yard with students that day. I think we are going to do this workshop again in spring of 2017. If so I'll make a video announcement of it again.
