I believe there's a lot more to the pyramids yet to be found. but look at ancient texts in regards to religion and mysticism and u will find eludes to times when certain ppl's where using, what I could only refer to as (for lack of a better term), spiritual beings to aid in their works such as building. it is said that the crusades where actually a cover to allow a covert team of ppl to go into Jerusalem n dig under Al-Aqsa and temple of Solomon and recover secrets in relation to this and communication with the Jinn. The Quran also confirms the secret was there and that it will be discovered by Iblees covertly leading ppl there. most likely by leading devil worshipping ppl to information regarding it by planting thoughts and ideas which is said to be how this animal operates. it is documented that later this group of ppl became the Freemasons. stone masons who were freed by this secret knowledge. we know today that they work closely with the Jinn who trick them into seeing them as fallen angels when there is no such thing.    A) The global community of archaeologists is conspiring to thwart a cool idea or is so bad at their jobs that a small group of casual amateurs, film makers and unsuccessful people on the edge of the field can blow the field wide open and no one will accept obvious problems with the more boring ideas in favor of a thrilling concept about ancient mechanized society...
   
   B) The small group of amateurs, film makers and unsuccessful people are motivated enough to make a splash by claiming "all the experts are idiots, you should watch our movie to learn the truth" and might be unwilling to accept that the experts actually do do their homework and it's a bit more than looking at carvings and then superimposing pictures of landspeeders on top of them.
