The Cerbalus aravensis is a relatively new species which was discovered by scientists in 2010, in the Sands of Samar, Israel. These types of spiders lives mostly underground in sand dunes, and partly stable sands at the edge of salt marshes. They are nocturnal which means that they do most of their hunting during the night. They have the capacity to grow up to grow up to 10 inches, including their legs. And are also considered to be very dangerous due to their venomous bites. 9 - Brazilian Wandering Spider. There is definitely a lot to fear when it comes to the Brazilian wandering spider. Not only are they frigging huge they are very dangerous as well. In fact these spiders spiders appear in Guinness World Records since 2010 as the world's most venomous spider. These spiders got their names due to the fact that they do not build webs, but instead walk the jungle floor at night looking for prey to munch on. Though they may be considered the most toxic spider, but they are not the biggest. Their leg-span reaches up to five inches.The spiders bite also has a very unusual side effects on men. In that bite from one of one these can give a man a very painful erection that can last for up to 4 hours straight. 8 - Giant Baboon Spider. The Giant Baboon Spider also known as the Hysterocrates gigas or Cameroon red baboon spider is a type of a type of spider found mostly in tropical and sub-tropical environments.They are known as burrowing spiders - ranging in colors from a dull black and gray to a rusty orange or brown. While normally shy, if provoked, this tarantula becomes a super aggressive and can be very dangerous to humans. Another alarming characteristic of these spiders is that they are super fast. Which is actually even more scarier when you you think about. They have the capacity of reaching a length of over 12 inches - 9 of which being just it's gigantic hairy legs. 7 - Camel Spider. The camel spider go by a bunch of different names such as - sun spiders, wind scorpions, beard cutters, or the “Kalahari Ferrari.” But what ever you decide to call them - one thing remains the same and that is, they are not all pretty to look at. These arachnids can grow up to six inches long, and up to a third of their length is taken up by their freaky looking jaws. Their amazing climbing abilities makes them a ferocious nightmare to other creatures such as lizards, rodents and even snakes. Though they do also use sight, one of the main methods camel spiders use to locate prey is substrate vibrations. Which means that will completely miss a prey if that prey stopped moving. 6 - Colombian Giant Black Tarantula. The Colombian Giant Black Tarantula grow up to 1 inches long. Its mostly black in color, but has brownish hairs and some reddish markings. These spiders can be found in the tropical rain forest of Columbia and Brazil. They can be extremely aggressive while hunting for food. But is harmless to humans, besides the scare factor. Just like most other tarantulas, they tend to lose their hairs around their thorax area during their senior years. These giant tarantulas are non venosus as well. Which makes them very popular among collectors. 5 - Poecilotheria Rajaei. The Poecilotheria rajaei is native to the Island nation of Sri Lanka. It was named after a police officer who who assisted researchers in navigating the jungles of Sri Lanka to find one. A search which began in 2013 after a villager found a dead specimen in an old building. They prefer well-established old trees, but due to deforestation the number have dwindled and due to lack of suitable habitat they enter old buildings. These very rare and endangered spiders can grow to to have a leg span of up to 8inches long. The venom of is not lethal to humans but can kill small rodents, birds, lizards and snakes.
