2. I'm at community college now. After this semester, I'll be only 1 math class away from my AA degree! I'm hoping to transfer to UCLA. If I don't get into UCLA, then the University of Kentucky is my 2nd choice. I know you said college is easier than high school for you. Did you go to a college prep private school? I know there's usually a reason why someone says college is easier than high school. I went to a public high school and college definitely has been a lot harder.

8. Getting to know my professors (specifically the ones in my major) really helped me gain opportunities I never would have known existed. You can be a research assistant or just be the first person they tell about an internship or job they heard about. They have important connections that can help you later on :) P.S. I was that weirdo that introduced myself to all my professors the 1st day of class. It usually paid off. And it makes you appreciate your education more when a professor takes the time to just chat with you after class or in their office - you figure out which ones really care about you and your success.

College in America is so different from College in Germany over here You have to pick your Major before entering College and Nobody Knows the Professors You are just a number and At the end of the Semester You have your Examen and that is all that Counts and it is very affordable to go to College we pay about 250euro for 6 months of College.
