  1. My 5 cents, is not a single piece, looks like they printed the black base and on top they added a machinable paste (Light cream color) to form the tight tolerances required to make a smooth wing surface.
  2. not the largest 3D printed object: houses and an office building have been done by 3D "printer" system utilizing concrete. The videos of such are even here on youtube
