Mammal dwarfing has been observed, along with other changes in community structure, during the largest of these ancient global warming events, known as the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum" As the planet gets hotter, some mammals may get smaller http://www.latimes.com/science/sciencenow/la-sci-sn-global-warming-dwarfism-20170315-story.html "Abigail D'Ambrosia, a graduate student at the University of New Hampshire, is interested in what happens to living things when the global temperature jumps. Do they go extinct? Do they adapt? Do they change? Her research, published Wednesday in the journal Science Advances, shows that at least in the case of some mammals, they shrink." Mountain Goats Are Shrinking-A Lot-Because of Global Warming http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/10/141022-chamois-mountain-goats-shrinking-climate-change-global-warming/ "Although global warming is known to be driving changes in body size in a number of animals, this result was more dramatic than researchers expected and suggests that a changing climate may have significant impacts on natural systems in the near term, in ways that are only beginning to be understood." ____________________ Seeker inspires us to see the world through the lens of science and evokes a sense of curiosity, optimism and adventure. 1. does this mean that humans might shrink as well
  2. Damn, I see a cool video about space so I hit subscribe. Then the very next video is full of global warming crap, now I have to unsubscribe.
  3. Aminals!?
  4. When you start your video by trying to scare us with the global warming scam, I'm done.
  5. That is interesting. The more efficient cooling is the best explanation for small animals in warmer climates. Thier is an opposite case during the ice age. The climate got cold, and the mammals became huge as a result. They can retain heat more easily, so they don't freeze to death. I wonder what it would be like to have small horses. I bet they would get cute. The smallest horse today is the Shetland pony, and they are so cute. I like the My Little Pony reference. Maybe humans would be smaller. Maybe they could see the error of their ways and be more respectful of nature. With these trends, humans could evolve into hobbits. They can be like Homo florenses. That would be cute. The future hobbits can even ride future ponies.
  6. bit Work really sounds$sfxdeveloping
  7. I've been having that problem of shrinkage myself, at least the my story and I'm sticking to it.
  8. shrinking human? will we shrink?
  9. No wonder my penis is so.......
  10. How does life know how to adapt??? Do cells have a mind of its own? How do theh know???
  11. lol. I thought I was the only one who said "aminals."
  12. Global Warming HAHAAHAHA what a bunch of BS Grow Up
  13. scientist talk shit. The age of Dinosaurs was a time when the world was much much warmer than it is now and Dinosaurs were the largest creatures ever to walk the earth. Its another global warming bullshit.
  14. This guy is a much better presenter. Keep him doing this aswell! He doesnt try to show that he is confortable and confident and he doesnt struggle to look funny!
  15. This is why I keep my room temperature low to prevent my penis shrinking. At the moment it looks small but for long term, it's worth it. #DickMatters
  16. clearly climate change aint real @trump
  17. WOOT! Julian! good to C u :)
  18. lol @ 1:28 aminals hahaha
