The Worst Advice to Get In Your 20s

Comments

  1. I had this office Engineering job, dressed in a suit and in a gray office. I did great and was praised for my performance by all my managers, But I hated this job soooo bad that everyday I looked out the window and said to myself I hate this life, I hate the suit, I hate the city. Nothing inspires or motivates me here, my hard work is whats keeping me going.

I asked for advice and all whom I asked advised to stay and work because its a secure job that pays good (Public Dept. Eng.). I eventually quit, but nothing felt better.

All those around me are not happy with their lives, and they think they know better. Thats why I think they tend to be the generous advice givers because they ain't happy...

Anyways, its tougher/easier nowadays with all the technology, resources, and communications, just take it easy and slow, because I think this world will smoke you faster than a cigarette butt if you let it.
  2. Thank you for the video! Worst advice: "Don't get married until you and your significant other graduate from college and have a career." I'm 23, married, and I've changed my major twice lol I'll get it together someday.
  3. Great Video, Alex! My worst piece of advice, or the one that comes up in my mind right now, was "You are not like those people. They are rich and you are not. You cannot do it."
