I had this office Engineering job, dressed in a suit and in a gray office. I did great and was praised for my performance by all my managers, But I hated this job soooo bad that everyday I looked out the window and said to myself I hate this life, I hate the suit, I hate the city. Nothing inspires or motivates me here, my hard work is whats keeping me going.
I asked for advice and all whom I asked advised to stay and work because its a secure job that pays good (Public Dept. Eng.). I eventually quit, but nothing felt better.
All those around me are not happy with their lives, and they think they know better. Thats why I think they tend to be the generous advice givers because they ain't happy...
Anyways, its tougher/easier nowadays with all the technology, resources, and communications, just take it easy and slow, because I think this world will smoke you faster than a cigarette butt if you let it.
