Thunder Valley 450MX: Eli Tomac crashes while leading Moto 2

While comfortably in the lead and on his way to a sixth straight moto win to start the season, the unthinkable happens: Eli Tomac crashes and injures himself. The crash would ultimately hand the win - and the points lead - to Ryan Dungey and leaves Tomac's status questionable for the next race. 9. It won't even be fun to watch this season now. Eli was so much faster and eventing the new level of speed that everyone would need to match now it's dungey and the injured Roczen. I was at thunder valley neither of those guys could hang with Eli no one had his pace. Well see you next season Eli make sure dungey sends u a thank u card for the championship.

14. Tomac is okay, he popped a bone out of place but he will still be able to get to the next race

Very sorry to see Tomac hurt and out for the season.  I am a Dungey fan but Eli is a great rider and a gentleman so it's no way to end his season.  The track at Glen Helen and Thunder were absolutely dangerous and I wish the riders would all stand up for this.  Tomac going all out, silly fast in those conditions was the downfall.  Watching the outdoors will be less because of this. Speedy recovery and best to ET3 and his family.

17. He actually was pretty seriously injured, but hes really tough and hid it well. He has 100% torn rotator cuff on one shoulder and the other one was dislocated... I bet he had atleast a mild concussion too. He is out for atleast the rest of 2015 and might not be 100% ready for 2016 SX either... Yikes. Ouch.
