Cera got a lucky shot in. That's not an upset. Beating someone's ass for 25 minutes is. Also, Barao was undefeated for EIGHT years. TJ just walked in to the Octagon and pummeled him so hard that the ref had to stop it. Cera got his ass beat in the rematch. Therefore, it's not an upset.

Honestly TJ Dillashaw showed PHENOMENAL footwork, even against an elite-tier fighter. I was dumbfounded. Automatically a fan.

Daniel Cormier wasn't a national champion. He was the runner-up to Cael Sanderson in 2001 at 184.

In UFC title fights, sure St. Pierre/Serra - but in MMA in general I have to give it to Werdum vs. Fedor - who the fuck saw that one coming? While not as high profile as a UFC event, that fight held similarities at the time to the Tyson/Douglas upset (biggest upset in sports history: 42-1). Fedor was the seemingly indestructable, unbeatable baddest man on the planet (who has since floundered on his way to retirement, a la Tyson) and Werdum (at that time) was an unimpressive talent recently cut from the UFC. Who doesn't get goosbumps reliving that one?
