3. I can relate to what Tony said about that fear after an injury. After breaking my ankle on a vert ramp I had to quit skating. I've tried to get back to it but the confidence isn't there. Now much older, I still would like to ride again but not to the degree I was before I got hurt. I'm 53 now. Don't bounce back like I used to haha.
4. i think he knew, he just wanted him to say it. interviewers do that all the time. e.g. 'how did that make you feel'. they have to have people talk about emotions as well because people subconsciously connect to the interviewee more and supposedly makes for a better interview

18. tony hawk is a sellout. plain and simple. he says he wants to get the youth into skating yet he makes trashy completes that have shit grip, horrible "wood", plastic trucks. I wiuld be ashamed to have my name on something like that.
19. He is still my idol at age 25. I just love this guy. Still have his Falcon 3 deck in my garage... razor tailed to shit but it's a good memory... even have the Fury trucks on it still. Ahh... adulting sucks.
