  9. "Biggest engines you can buy". It's a very naive and European only perspective video, since you only include cars that are stock and buyable off the factory floor.

    And even then anything under a standard US mid-sized 426-428 cubic inch engine or roughly 7L is not really that big.

    Most American crate engines (only talking for street use only) go way past that and normally you can get 632 ci for the street for $10k easily. Beyond that though, you enter the realm of mountain motors with increased bore spacing and thus custom blocks and cranks and everything else becomes special and expensive. But even there you can get an 820 ci for the street if you got $50k. Realistically that won't cool well, so a 632 ci is usually considered the biggest useful streetable engine to chuck in a car and it can last all week long, while being raced and cooled. You can even add PAs if you need strip credits but a conservative shot of NO2 and some gapped rings should be enough for 1000+ hp for those 9.0 secs down a strip.
