  9. Well, we know the bitch loves to talk.
  10. This is a bad lineup. "Ring of Fire" is not a real country song!
  11. where's HELLO DARLIN by CONWAY TWITTY!?!?!?!?
  12. rhinestone cowboy?
  13. Dixie Chick's suck !
  14. I see a lot of comments asking, "Why is ___ not on that list?" Yet I do not see a single person making suggestions, on who should be removed, to make room for their named musician. Tell me, who is not good enough to be on that list? Sure, you may not feel the man in black should be #1. But should he be removed from that list? Conway Twitty, Carl Perkins, Alan Jackson, Dolly Parton ... I even saw a few people mention Glenn Campbell and John Denver. Who will you remove to make way for one of them? Merle Haggard, the quintessential country musician? Willie Nelson ... the person who did such a beautiful rendition, most people forgot Elvis did it first? Patsy Cline, the woman whose August 1961 song was so popular, people still sing it today, in every redneck karaoke joint on the planet? Hank Williams... Arguably the greatest country artist in history? How about Tammy Wynette, the woman known as the Queen of Country? Let's yank Garth Brooks? You know, the man who sold more music and has been played more than anyone in the history of country music? Whose songs, 'Friend's in low places,' and 'the Dance' pretty much saved a rapidly dying music genre. So tell me, who do you feel should be removed from that list and who should take his or her place?

Fair warning: if anyone says something like, "I'd remove Merle Haggard and replace him with Slim Whitman." The country music community will hunt you down and beat you with a stick!
  15. How did you come up with this list?
  16. I agree with Hank Williams, Tammy Wynette, Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, George Jones, and Johnny Cash. How did "the Dixie Chicks" even make honorable mention? There are so many great ones out there. Red Sovine just to mention one.
  17. my grandma ran a bar called the oasis in port Arthur texas in the 1970s
  18. Mountain Music by Alabama should have been there period.
  19. Can't believe "Called Me By My Name" by David Allan Coe isn't on here. It's known as the greatest country and western song! :P
  20. Missed a great one, "Evangelina", by Hoyt Axton.
