15. you are making a huge mistake by claiming one star is larger than the other by the volume they fill, sure your #1 star is larger by size. but its a red supergiant, all stars swells when dying, how big you think VY canis majoris will be when it will become a red supergiant? their masses have a HUGE difference, it does not make it a good comparison, as you cannot say a neutron star have more density than a newly formed star.. or well yes you can but its not very accurate since the new star can be bigger with the same density after its collapse
