9. I remember when Wilt had the 100 point game. Awesome performance, and most people don't realize he was 28-32 from the FREE THROW LINE that night. But I think it's conceivable that with the 3 point shot, someone might have an incredibly hot hand one night, and maybe a couple overtime periods, and match the 100 point game. But nobody will ever average 50 points per game for an entire season. Ever.
   
   The other record I think is unassailable is Johnny Vander Meer's 2 consecutive no-hitters for the Reds in 1938. Ironically, the closest to tie it was another Red (Ewell Blackwell) about 10 years later. And someone may indeed tie it some day. But NOBODY is going to throw 3 in a row.
