  1. I Would Still Rather Carry My Glock 26 Sub Compact 9mm
  2. If you're going to carry a .380 I would carry FMJ ammo before I'd get a hollow-points for penetration. And the Lehigh defense Xtreme penetrators are aid choice as well. Just my opinion, but there's lots of videos on Interwebs you can watch about the issue of penetration.
  3. i am carrying a Beretta model 1934, it was made in 1937 and it is a blast to shoot.if you can find one it is a nice review weapon. all metal, single action ,the gripe i have heard was the safety was to far forward, but my hands are big and it is no problem for me,i can field strip and reassemble mine i less then 3 minutes. it is a 380 cal.
  4. IMO, there is no such thing as a good reliable .380.  Glock 42 maybe!
  5. I understand this is your top five, and I could see if you were referring to conceal carry, but how could you leave out the Baretta 84? This pistol is one of the best built, reliable and best looking .380 pistols ever made.
  6. 15+1 shots from my Taurus PT 638 COMPACT PRO SA. Or my sub-compact Taurus TCP PT738 (with +1 extended magazine grip) with 7+1 shots and the the slide locks back after last shot, and has a 14lbs recoil spring unlike the pathetic Ruger LCP 9lbs stock recoil spring, and doesn't stay locked open after last shot. That 9Lbs recoil spring equals nasty bite when shootings, versus the 14lbs stock spring on the TCP 380. Of course the LCP G2 does lock back after last shot, but its single-action-trigger stupidity in a pocket pistol is going to results "negligent" discharges, when all the girls that buy it reach to pull it out of a pocket holster and accidentally shoot them themselves in the leg.. Taurus has been very reliable IME... and also the Taurus TCP trigger is superior to the Ruger LCP G1 trigger by all reviews. And if you want capacity with no recoil, try the 380 I like the most: the Taurus PT638. Of course my SIG was nice, but I needed some money, and my Taurus work fine, so I sold it.
  7. pussy boy gun
  8. the glock is too big for a .380
  9. LCP(2) 👍all the way
  10. The Lorcin 380 is a great gun
  11. I was wondering about the Kahr 380 but mine does have a lot of issues. I don't trust it. A reliable one should be in the top 5 haha.
  12. I vote for the Bersa firestorm thunder. Fixed barrel, incredibly accurate, and super reliable. This gun should cost a lot more.
  13. Forgot to add as someone else stated in comments. Kahr is a great 380, but it needs a lot of breaking in before it can be trusted. Bersa is out of the box capable.
  14. Great review! I picked the Bersa 380 cc for my go to pocket 380 because it is very accurate (probably because of the fixed barrel), capacity, the double action trigger and price. It is a really hard to beat combination for the money. Only drawback I have found is the tiny little factory sights. I also have a Kahr CW 380 which was not in your lineup, but is also a great pocket 380. Thanks!
  15. Very cool review. Thanks for making it. Helped me make a buying decision.
  16. Helped i'm 11 and trying to help my mom
  17. I just bought my first handgun, the BERSA Firestorm 380 (which is the COMMIEfornia version of the Thunder 380). I am a big guy (6'2", 250) and it is a easy gun to handle. After 50 rounds, I was able to consistently group in the center at 12 yards. I will upgrade next year to a 40 or 45 (Springfield or a S&W). But for a first gun NOOB like me, I feel confident in this gun. The only downside to this caliber.....the cost of ammo. A box of 50 rounds is going to be about +/- $20.00 while 50 rounds of 9mm is about half that price. Before I purchase my next handgun, I will be renting guns at the range to find my next one. The next gun won't be a conceal carry.
  18. There is definitely a hammer. It's quite visible at the rear of the slide.
  19. If police frisk u will they notice?
  20. The PPKS wouldn't make top 5?
