3. I've shot a suppressed .22 and I assure you, it sounds like a bb gun. Not sure about other guns though.
4. this was a good list although the silencer bit always bugs me. they sell subsonic ammo...... with subsonic ammo and a good silencer they are pretty quiet, quiet enough most people wouldn't recognize the sound as a gun shot, which is the point.
5. This watchmojo guy has never fired a firearm with a suppressor, they are amazing. Last year at an event I was able to fire an H&K rifle fitted with a suppressor, the only sound you could hear was the hammer strike.

   I think Mythbusters covered this. They conformed it as a myth that no such things happens. You just fall down dead plop. It is such a frequently used gun myth.

12. As far as suppressors go you'll be able to keep the noice way down by using sub sonic ammo. Look up .308 sub sonic suppressed. It is surprisingly quiet.
