2. magma = when the molten rock/ore is inside the earth's crust.
   lava = when the magma breaches the earth's crust
   completely different as I assume the contact with air cause a few chemical reactions changing the composition.
   Also, @ 0:47 that's not lava or magma but a pyroclastic flow which is far more deadly because it can reach speeds exceeding 200 mph and temp upwards of 500 degrees F making it impossible to escape.
