Top Mistakes New and Young YouTubers Make

These Are the Top Mistakes People Make On YouTube When Growing Their YouTube Channel or Trying to Get More Subscribers and Views. Listen to the New CSAT Podcast: https://goo.gl/SEQmn8 When trying to grow your YouTube channel and get more views and subscribers, it can be easy to make mistakes along the way. As long as you learn and grow it is fine, but there are some mistakes that are hard to come back from. Not having a bigger goal than just becoming a "Big YouTuber" is part of this. If you're only interested in getting subscribers this will be obvious to your audience and a turn off. You have to have a better reason for making videos than that. Not engaging with your audience and responding to comments is another common mistake those new to YouTube make. Engagement is a key metric that YouTube cares about and more importantly being human is something your audience cares about. Of course there is the problem of YouTube Sub4Sub. Sub4Sub is a huge problem in YouTube and many Young YouTubers and new YouTubers fall for this. Sub4Sub is a scam and is dangerous for your YouTube channel. You may think you are helping each other out, but you're ruining your reputation in the YouTube community, later it will hurt you when sponsors research you, and there are not guarantees that people who gave you Sub4Sub won't just unsubscribe to you later. You shouldn't do something like Sub4Sub to build up your confidence, that should come from knowing you're doing your best and making videos you enjoy. It also isn't going to make people pay attention to your channel. Video Shares do that more effectively anyway. Finally not collaborating with people who have similar channel is a big mistake YouTubers are making. Asking for shoutouts from someone who has a channel with content that is not similar to yours comes off as annoying, but if you want to collaborate with someone with a similar audience that makes sense and you should do this whenever possible. Collaborations are a great way to build relationships and reach new viewers. Like My Content? 1. I only do sub to my subscribers and people who come by my channel. I also stopped participating in shout outs because they're hard to win and most people who send messages like that aren't even supporting me when they say I have a lot of potential. I'm focusing more on my views rather than subscribers.
  2. Something I learned with YouTube is consistence. Without it, you can't grow.
