  1. Do you have permission to use the music? That is sole survivor from Kung Fury in your intro.

Also you failed to mention the real issue with those hot end liners is that when they break down they release neurotoxins.
  2. I have a da vinci AIO and a ctc duo and I have been thinking about these kits, what would suggest to get? I'd like to get the largest one on a fair sized bugget (that I currently don't have yet^^; ).
  3. Good video!
But what is wrong with your fingers? I would really ask a doctor what is happening there
  4. I got those drivers by accident...
  5. What's that large delta printer?
  6. I like the PEI ....but still use blue tape quite a bit
  7. I recently picked up a Geeetech, and the bearings gall the guide rods, bind, and I've had four ball bearings fall out to date.
Not sure where's the smart spot to replace that hardware from, but I'd put 'make the printer stop skipping steps' ahead of even a fan. :-)
  8. I have a anet A8,how do you feel about the glass for that printer,or maybe you can suggest another?.NEW to this.

  9. how do i add a part cooling fan to an Anet a2?
  10. Do you have a link to the Dii cooler you used? Does it work with the stock hot end for the FT-5?
  11. Wait wait... what kind of man's room is that? Why is it clean and illuminated? Anyway... great video, suscribed!
  12. Happy thanksgiving
  13. TMC2100 is more quite stepper driver.
  14. Reference list for upgrades covered, I had trouble keeping the pertinent ones in mind:

    General/Cartesian
    10) Stepper driver upgrade to DRV8825
    9) RaspberryPi with Octoprint
    8) Printer enclosure
    7) Decent spool holder
    6) Silicone heating pad
    5) Bed autolevel - BLTouch
    4) Upgrade extruder -> Stainless drive gear -> E3D Titan
    3) All metal hotend -> E3D
    2) Glass build plate -> debatable
    1) Part cooling fan

    Delta 13:03
    - Aluminium effector
    - Sturdier carriages
  15. thanks for the help, ive subscribed, keep up the good work bro
  16. Good video, Thanks for posting.

On my DIY Delta I can't use Octoprint with large jobs. It can't handle the data and it shows in the print quality. I do not have an SD card or LCD installed to eliminate the buffer issues on top of reducing the look ahead. My #1 upgrade is to a 32 bit processor so I can add back the SD card. I am putting a 800 watt silicone heater and enclosing it right now, but I think I will need to add ventilation control to prevent overheating the chamber. I tried that very same circumferential cooling duct and couldn't keep the heat in my nozzle. Any recommendations.
  17. 👍👍👍👍👍
  18. Nice choice on the raspberry pi. Although, Instead of octaprint, I use repetier-server for mine. Also really good :)

you make a good point about an enclosures too, I'm currently using an upturned box, over my printer :/ but I'm working on a nice wood ones :)
  19. PEI seems better than glass
