Turning Point? Largest West Bank Protest in Decades Raises Spectre of a 3rd Intifada

http://www.democracynow.org - Israel's assault on the Gaza Strip has triggered the largest West Bank protest in years, with more than 15,000 people people marching Thursday from Ramallah towards Jerusalem. Two Palestinians were killed and more than 200 were wounded when Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition. We go to the West Bank to speak journalist Amira Hass, Ha'aretz correspondent for the Occupied Palestinian Territories. "There were whole families, and women and men, traditional and modern, and middle class and workers. Everybody went very determined to show that this is enough," Hass says. 4. Can't you have a newsperson who is more English enabled speak?  It's frustrating to listen to this woman who can barely express herself and uses English in a confusing way.
  5. First of all I feel sorry for the Palestinians who killed by Israeli soldiers and I stand for Palestinians. And also what I'd like you to remember according to the informations on the internet is that the incident of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant was led by the nuclear weapon secretly held by in a way Zionists including Stuxnet's hacking controlling. Japanese people are being killed slowly by Israel,US and the politicians of Japan who are controlled by Zionist Nazis..
  6. Hamas is shooting rockets = Hamas is inviting more Israeli retaliations = the blood of Gaza civilians is on Hamas hands.

As long as Hamas is committed to the destruction of Israel there will be a blockade

Simple conclusion = Hamas is not a good choice for Gaza's government. Not at all :)
  7. I.m.h.o., not a single guest has yet been able to explain the full extent of the blockade on Gaza. What does it mean to the fisherman who is fired upon by the Israeli navy even within the 3 km perimeter (from the coastline) in which he is supposedly allowed to move freely ? What does it mean to the businessman who can't get half of the raw materials he needs to keep his business running, and must submit the other half to intense Israeli scrutiny, losing precious time in the process (Israeli truck drivers are forced to unload the content of their trucks on an Israeli-controlled esplanade, where each payload is examined to the cm² by the IDF, before being loaded again onto a Palestinian truck). What does it imply as to the export capabilities of Gazan businesses ? In other words, what does it imply for the Gazan economy ? What does it mean to the people of Gaza who need medical treatment outside their enclave (be it in Israel or in Egypt) ? What does it mean to students who want to study abroad ? What does it mean to foreign visitors, who first require a formal Israeli stamp to enter Gaza and are then forwarded from one checkpoint to another ? Let the invadors destroy all tunnels. If the blockade isn't lifted, other tunnels will be dug, other invasions launched, unless the Israeli government follows the hardliners and resorts to mass genocide...

Since the blockade is the focal point of the current conflict and, on Palestinian side, the condition to a ceasefire, I think the topic deserves a special segment in one of the upcoming shows...
  8. only 2 ?

  9. Why not talks to solve problems. Why do men use violence instead? I don't get it.
