"Two Scariest Lies in Our World Right Now" Francis Chan from Doctrine Youth Study - Bluefish TV

Francis Chan teaches about the sinful condition of mankind, and God's willingness to punish sin in spite of His love for us. Doctrine Knowing the Truth and Acting On It What are the essential beliefs of Christianity? And how should a healthy understanding of doctrinal issues—like The Trinity, the Church, sin and salvation—impact the way we live and act toward God and others? We will all face times where our faith will be challenged either by other people or by difficult circumstances. That's why it's critical that we have a foundational knowledge of the core beliefs of Christianity and a willing heart to obey God. In these seven dynamic sessions, students share real-life stories about their own struggles with living out the essentials of their faith on a daily basis. And Francis Chan provides powerful teaching from Scripture and helps teens understand the core of our Christian faith. Comments

  1. Amen... great word...
  2. Amen! God does not give a f**k whether we're good or bad, only that we worship him.
  3. I believe that Gods punishment at the end is real, and its called the second death. but not the same as what you might be teaching. we are all ressurected unto a fair judgment in the end times, whether unto eternal life or the second death. however, I don't believe that hell is eternal in the sense that dogma teaches. I believe that all evil will be completely destroyed in those flames, not eternally existing and never burning up. To say Gods righteous judgment of a man on earth, who lives in a corrupted state of sin in a world filled by deception from the devil, is to suffer eternally in pain is beyond the righteous wrath of God. this isn't just wishful thinking due to cultural shifts. its a fair assessment of Gods character.
  4. nice preaching franch
  5. He's tryna sell, but I ain't buyin.
  6. I agree that we're all sinners and all fall short, but I think psychologically we should not just focus on what we do bad for all of our positive attributes. The same applies to seeing others in the most positive light you can.
  7. life is about thinking. people think what they want.
  8. He speaks the truth and Satan has been convincing people of those lies through new age teachings, schools, prosperity ministries...
Only those who read their Bibles know the Truth...churches sure don't teach all of it ...except Pastor Chan. His message is deep! Amen
except... question...what stinking version of the Bible is he using?!?!?
Doesn't read like the KJV and none are authorized except the KJV!
All Bibles after that are corrupted...just as Satan wanted it to be. Just look at Catholic practices compared to the Bible, for example.
  9. I do not believe that God defines people as good or bad based upon their sinfulness, that's what people do. The new covenant promises declares that God's love is greater than all of mankind's sinfulness.

The old covenant, aka 'the ministry of condemnation' or 'death,' looks upon man's sinfulness, under the law, to show that we are indeed sinners. "But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away." 2 Cor. 3:16. We are new creation's based upon the performance of Christ, not upon our own. We declare God's righteousness as our own. We are all made righteous by him. (Romans 5:21)

I am a righteous man. Just as Abraham believed, so do I, and it is counted to me as righteousness. (Romans 4:3) Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

    Peace! :)
  10. You indoctrinate the weak through coercion, deceit and fear. Thats the biggest sin of all. The human race is awakened. I am a good person, i am!
  11. I get where he's coming from, but this video is clearly leaving people confused about their worth and identity. People already know that they've done bad things (sinned) but that doesn't identify us as sinners. We were lost sons and daughters, and God got us back through Christ to be filled with the spirit and walk like Christ. I went through a season of depression with the mentality that I was a "bad person", until God showed me my value and purpose. I was created to shine and love others like Jesus. He do not give us a spirit of fear but of boldness.
  12. Francis Chan is associated with the church i go too and i am having a hard time because i have some issues with the message where i would there focus on who we are rather than who we are not however regardless of this as his brother it is my duty to LOVE my brother and delight in him regardless of preference. Delighting in someone is the opposite of judging and is what God does with us and then through that we can discern the Gold in someone. Anyone can spot dirt but Gold you gotta dig for and when you do you learn to see others as God sees them. Then too you can find the gold. I may be like a clay jar or a box but a box filled with God's treasure is a treasure chest so lets see the treasure in each other. I exhort you that if you you do not like him that you challenge yourself to see the good in him. I will tell you that he is a man who is very Godly and has had great impact in missions and risked his life on numerous occasions. He is a very passionate man who is speaking what he believes is truth in love. However God does not punish in spite of love but because of love for the one who is not disciplined is not loved. As for hell and sin, hell is the natural consequence of sin like gravity to falling. the weight of our sin would bear us down but in God's passionate Love for us Jesus blood his love manifest separates us from sin and now instead we received his righteousness so now the gravity is turned towards Jesus. one final thing false humility is thinking less of yourself but true humility is thinking of yourself as God thinks of you as well as thinking of yourself less. God -esteem over self esteem. I I am very good because Jesus blood has cleansed me the stain of Adams sin is gone. Yes the builder (God) is greater than the building however to think less of the artwork is to think less of the artist. Also God delights in me and i am a much loved child. As for you francis chan i love you but i disagree. If you disagree just love him, delight in him, and pray for a love revelation for him which is a great gift to give to anyone.
  13. What do you mean when you guys say "this man speaks the truth"? No one can know these sorts of things. You just agree with the statements being said.
  14. The reason people don't believe in God is because they think they are good enough already and don't need Him. They have no concept of what sin really is and perhaps think that telling the odd lie is harmless, or to have an unkind thought about someone is harmless, so long as you don't tell them what you think...and even if you blurt out your unkind thoughts you don't really care if you upset them because you think your thinking is truth and your unkind opinion justified. ...so they should 'get over it'. Any deception, any time you don't love your fellow man, you have fallen short of the perfection of God and you are a sinner. End of.
  15. We are declared righteous in Christ Jesus ....
  16. Third lie: Satan and demons don't exist.
  17. We as Christians should not mix up the old nature with the new nature in Christ.... how we identify ourselves is very important. As Christians we are no longer called to be sinners, but saints- holy and perfected into the image of our creator- as stated in the book of Colossians... the scariest lie in the world right now in my humble opinion is that many churches are preaching to christians that christians are "sinners who sin less"... Jesus said "be holy and I am holy" and He wouldnt have said this if it were not possible. The righteousness is not from ourselves... but is through the blood of Jesus that our sins are removed as far as the east is from the west.
  18. God is the personification of anger, hatred and rage and should destroy and burn all humans in the world, including this man.
  19. This is good but needs more gospel
  20. A M E N ! ! !
