Vape pen explosion: E-cig blows up in Idaho man’s face, he loses 7 teeth - TomoNews

POCATELLO, IDAHO — A former vapist is warning others about the dangers of e-cigarettes after his vape pen blew up in his face. Car salesman Andrew Hall suffered second-degree burns and lost seven teeth in the horrific incident. The explosion happened on the weekend when Andrew was enjoying a few toots of electronic smoke while getting ready for work. Andrew wrote on Facebook that he was vaping in his bathroom when his vape pen exploded. The blast was so powerful that it shattered his bathroom sink. Posting from the hospital ICU ward, Andrew wrote that he’d been pulling chunks of plastic, teeth and foreign objects from his mouth, throat and lips. Andrew said he had been vaping for about a year and had properly maintained the battery of his vape pen. He added that he’d never had an issue with overheating. Come on lol I been vaping for a pretty long time and i even seen a certain store owner mishandle his device almost resulting in an explosion if not for an employee noticing that his device which was attached to his device rubbed up against the cashier's desk and was actively firing.
    
    Ecigs are not toys you buy for kids. They are things that you need to take responsibility handing.

15. All of these cases have been proven after investigation that these people were pulling too many volts from the batteries and using unsafe builds on unregulated mods. If you don't understand ohms law don't use mechanical mods. This video claims these are "vape pens" however they're being used with RDA's and custom builds. These people don't understand vaping hence going against ohms law and pushing the battery further than it's meant to. One of them was pulling 70volts from the battery when most batteries clearly state you should go no higher than 30 max. End of ✌️
