1. I've owned a Red Tail Boa when i was young. Ended up around 6.5ft, extremely docile. Never bit once.
   The Iguanas i've encountered are much much more territorial and aggressive though.
   Also, I haven't Googled this but aren't Monitor Lizards venemous? I guess, sort of along the lines of a Komodo; they have a TON of bacteria in their mouth so a small bite requires heaps of antibiotics, lest you become ill. VERY ill, as in death.
   I could be wrong on this.
