Actually, there are two known species of Jellyfish which can claim the thrown of the largest giant among the jellyfishes. These two are - Lion's Mane and Nomura's Jellyfish. Lion's Mane Jellyfish (Cyanea capillata) is also called "Haor Jelly" due to its bundle of tentacles that exactly look like the golden hairs of some forlon damsel.But this air is not very suitable to touch due to the venomous stings. They love the cold oceanic water near the poles. Nomura's Jellyfis (Nemopilema nomurai) is a giant jelly. They mainly lives near the coast of Japan and so got the Japanese name. Invasion of these jellies often hamper commercial fishing of the country. Some people of Japan, China and Korea eat the flesh of these creatures.
